Before getting to the ghâts at Varanasi, we visited the Dharmek Stupa at Sarnath. A lot of monks there. I would have loved to know what he was reading, but was too far away

We got to Varanasi in the evening. It was both full moon and Shiva’s festival. There were lights all over the place and fireworks

Hi, everybody, let’s walk walk walk! (that was Leslie Sansone talking, not me… :-) )

But I HAVE been walking. Haven’t made my 6000 goal every day this week though. Also no outstanding 10,000+ days…but at least, keeping on keeping on. I’m trying to be more diligent at work and procrastinate less…truly I would rather exercise than work…but I won’t get a raise that way!

Mon. Feb 1 – 7855 steps (3659 aerobic)

Tues. Feb. 2 – 4175 steps. This is my youth choir day & there’s always a lot to do.

1 – 7 Feb 2010 First February week with days getting a bit longer

Monday: one-hour Feldenkrais class, 15mn stretching, 7,534 steps, 23mn aerobic walking
Tuesday: one-hour stretching class, 3-mile Leslie Sansone, 25mn aerobic exercise, 6,000 steps
Wednesday: 15 mn stretching, 11,703 steps
Thursday: 15mn stretching, 6kms’ walk. Had forgotten my pedometer. I imagine over 12,000 steps or maybe a bit more.

Friday: one-hour stretching, 7,647 steps

Good afternoon, all. It’s been chilly here in New England but, unlike Lia, we have no snow. Sara, did you get hit by the recent snowstorm?

I appreciate the clear sidewalks and roads.

Sunday 1/31–Leslie Sansone 2 mile high intensity walk

Monday 2/1–20 min aerobic dance

Thursday 2/4–20 min walk outdoors plus some floor exercises (stretch/strength)

Friday 2/5–approx 20 aerobic dance

Sunday 2/7–30 minute brisk walk outdoors
